This article describes how to add a new or edit an existing Google Ads connection for your Peak organization.

Process Overview
There are four stages that need to be completed when adding or editing a Google Ads connection:
- Connection
- Import Configuration
- Destination
- Trigger

Connection
Only a single Google Ads connection is allowed per Peak organization. If you want to use a different one, you will first have to delete the existing connection and then create and authorize a new one.
Setting up a connection
When setting up a connection, you can either use an existing connection or create a new one.
If you are using an existing connection, you can leave the configuration parameters as they are or edit them.
To use an existing connection:
- At the Connection stage, from the Select Connection dropdown, choose the required connection.
The dropdown will be empty if there have not been any previous connections configured. - Enter the required connection parameters.
See below for details. - Click SAVE to save the parameters and move to the next step.
To create a new connection:
- From the Connection screen, click NEW CONNECTION.
The New Connection box appears. - Enter the required connection name and click AUTHENTICATE.
- Use the email account that is associated with the Google BigQuery account you will be using.
- To give Peak permission to manage your Google Ads account, click Allow.
You will be taken back to the connection step screen.
- Click NEXT to continue to Import Configuration.
Import Configuration
Complete the following fields:
- Select Account dropdown menu
Choose the Google Ads account that you want to use for your feed.
You might have access to multiple Google Ads accounts.
The drop-down menu will list all of your accounts apart from manager accounts which do not have any data associated with them. - Select Report dropdown
Select the report type that you require.
The following six reports are available:- Ad Performance Report
Includes all statistics aggregated at the ad level; one row per ad. - Geo Performance Report
Includes all statistics aggregated at the country/territory level; one row per country/territory. - Search Query Performance Report
Includes all statistics aggregated at the search terms level; one row per combination of search terms. - Criteria Performance Report
Includes statistics aggregated at the ad group criteria level; one row per ad group and criteria combination. - Display Keyword Performance Report
Includes all Display Network and YouTube Network statistics aggregated at the keyword level; one row per keyword. - AdGroup Performance Report
Includes all statistics aggregated by default at the ad group level; one row per ad group.
- Ad Performance Report
- Preview
View your data in tabular format.
- Feed Load Type
- Truncate and insert
- Incremental
- Update and insert (upsert)

- Historical Date Range
Choose the date range that you want your feed to run across. - Project
Enter the Peak project that will be associated with the feed. - Feed Name
- The name should be meaningful
- Only use alphanumeric characters and underscores.
- It must start with a letter.
- It must not end with an underscore.
- Use up to 50 characters.
Destination
The Destination stage enables you to choose a where your data will be stored.
If there are multiple options available, you can choose multiple destinations. The destinations available will depend on the data warehouse you use. For example, Redshift users will see Redshift and S3 as options, while users of Snowflake will see Snowflake only.
