This article describes how to upload a file and how they should be named.

Uploading a file
Files cannot be uploaded to the Home folder.
To upload a file:
Go to the folder that you are uploading to and click UPLOAD FILES.
The Upload New File window appears.Drag and drop a single file or multiple files into the window.
Alternatively, you can select files to upload from your device.
File Manager checks that the file is valid before allowing an upload.
If you have an invalid file, click the cross to remove it.

File Manager shows the progress of each of your uploads until the upload is complete.
You can navigate to other areas of Peak while your files are uploading.
To cancel a file upload, click the X icon next to the file.
File upload requirements
File names can only contain the following characters:
Alphanumeric:
a-z
,A-Z
and0-9
Special characters:
! - _ . * ' ( )
File names cannot contain
#
or+
.
If a file with a name that includes # or + has been uploaded to S3 via the AWS Management Console, you will not be able to preview it in File Manager.File extensions must be in lower case.
Files cannot be empty.
Files cannot be
.exe
.File names must be unique within the destination folder.
If a file with the same name already exists, you will be given the following options:Replace the existing file with the new one.
Keep both files.
File Manager will rename the file you are uploading by adding a timestamp to its name.
It will then appear as a new file in the folder.
